This position will require some flexibility including early mornings, evenings, sleepovers and weekend work. the sucessful applicant will hold a QQI Level 7 or higher certificate in Social Care/Healthcare or equivalent. Be willing to take part in the community and embrace the model & ethos of L'Arche. Be person centered in approach and attitude. Have a good standard of oral and written English. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Experienced working with individuals with an intellectual disability - working with wheelchairs and other assistive equipment would be an advantage. A full driving license is highly desirable. Note: Only individuals currently resident and approved for work in Southern Ireland can be considered for this position. Garda vetting for this position will apply.
