## Role details - Reference: SLDS2648 - Category: Health and Social Care Professionals - Grade: Dietitian - Senior 3395 - Health region: HSE West and North West - County: Sligo - Leitrim - Cavan - Location: Sligo, Leitrim & west Cavan Children Disability Network Team services A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for senior dietician from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled… - Recruiter: HSE West and North West: Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, and Galway - Contract type: Permanent Part-time - Permanent Wholetime - Specified Purpose Part-time - Specified Purpose Wholetime - Closing date: 14/10/2026 12:00:00 ### Candidates must - Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the delivery of Dietetic services to children, including experience of working with children with disabilities and/or complex developmental needs. - Demonstrate experience in the delivery of Dietetic services relevant to the management of paediatric enteral feeding, malnutrition, nutrition support, infant feeding, complex restrictive eating and/or weight management, as relevant to the role. - Demonstrate experience and knowledge in the application of appropriate counselling and lifestyle behaviour change techniques relevant to children and families. - Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary Children's Disability Network Team and to contribute to Family Centred Practice and the Individual Family Support Plan. - Demonstrate the clinical knowledge and professional judgement required to prioritise and manage a paediatric disability caseload according to identified need and available resources.
