European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) is a pan-European artificial intelligence (AI) network focusing on fundamental science, technical innovation, and societal impact. It helps to secure Europe’s sovereignty by creating a multi-centric AI research laboratory. It was founded in 2018 and is based in Munich, Germany.
