Location: For this role, we are looking for candidates who are able to work onsite in our Galway office two to three days per week. We’re building large-scale conversational and agentic AI that serves 7,500+ organizations. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll design, build, and productionize ML systems—especially LLM-powered agents—that interact intelligently with users and other services. You’ll work hands-on across all aspects of AI from design and research, to backend integration. At the same time partnering with researchers, engineers, and product to ship reliable, scalable AI. What You Will Do: - Design, develop, and maintain agentic AI systems for conversational interfaces. - Build and optimize scalable ML pipelines for real-time and async interactions. - Develop and integrate LLM-powered agents capable of multi-turn reasoning and task execution. - Productionize models and services: APIs, microservices, observability, and reliability. - Collaborate with research and product to translate prototypes into robust solutions. - Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and security in AI applications. - Write clear, maintainable code and tests; review code and mentor peers. - Stay current on advancements in LLMs, conversational AI, and agentic patterns. What We’re Looking For: - 4+ years of professional software/ML experience. - Strong proficiency in Python as your primary programming language, with Java experience considered a plus. - Solid foundation in software engineering and system design. - Cloud services experience, AWS or equivalent. - Proven ability to build/operate APIs and microservices at scale. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in fast-paced environments. Nice to Have: - Hands-on with LLMs (GPT/Claude/Mistral), fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering. - Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, Bedrock, OpenAI tools/function calling). - Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow). - Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and embedding-based retrieval. - Real-time AI apps (chatbots, voice, copilots); multi-agent or autonomous reasoning systems.
