Bus Éireann operates within a dynamic and evolving transport environment shaped by changing customer needs, government policy, sustainability priorities, investment programmes and ongoing transformation across the public transport sector. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Policy & Economic Analysis to provide strategic economic insight, policy analysis and long-term strategic thinking to support enterprise decision-making across the organisation. This senior role will work closely with the CEO, Chief Transformation Officer and the wider senior leadership team to shape strategic analysis, policy positions, investment assessment and organisational planning across a range of business priorities. The role requires a strong understanding of economic trends, public policy, infrastructure investment and regulated operating environments. The successful candidate will analyse complex economic and operational challenges, develop evidence-based policy positions and strategic recommendations and help shape practical, scalable solutions that support organisational performance, sustainability and long-term growth. This role will support Bus Éireann’s strategic positioning within the wider public transport ecosystem, ensuring the organisation is well positioned to respond to national policy developments, regulatory change, funding priorities and emerging transport trends.
