Child Safety Enforcement Specialist

## About the role As a Child Safety Enforcement Specialist on the Intelligence & Investigations, you independently lead defined child safety investigations and projects from triage through documented outcome. You apply strong working knowledge of policy and investigative practice, surface trends in abuse signals, recommend evidence-based mitigations, and coordinate with partners to deliver reliable safety outcomes. The role includes sensitive content review and may involve supporting quality and workflow improvements. This role participates in a coverage rotation that includes weekends. As part of the rotation, one weekend day will be included in the employee’s regular five-day workweek. You’ll be responsible for: This role supports child safety investigations, enforcement, reporting, and process improvement. The work includes significant review of sensitive content and analysis of user behavior. This role independently owns defined projects, aligns with cross-functional priorities, and escalates complex legal or policy questions through established channels. In this role, you will: - Independently review and investigate child safety content and behavior, including CSAM and grooming signals, applying policy consistently and documenting evidence and rationale. - Lead well-defined high-risk escalations end to end; anticipate blockers, communicate progress, and make or recommend enforcement decisions within policy and escalation boundaries. - Identify potential mandatory-reporting cases and prepare accurate, timely NCMEC CyberTip reports through approved legal and operational review flows. - Analyze case and detection data to identify patterns, quality gaps, and emerging abuse trends; propose practical, data-informed improvements to investigative workflows and tooling. - Collaborate with Legal, Policy, Product, Engineering, and operations partners to implement scoped mitigations, resolve dependencies, and clearly communicate findings and outcomes. You might thrive in this role if you have: - Experience investigating child safety abuse or comparable Trust & Safety issues, with sound judgment in sensitive content review and enforcement - Ability to independently own defined investigative projects, anticipate obstacles, and deliver high-quality, clearly documented outcomes - Working knowledge of NCMEC CyberTip reporting workflows and the judgment to escalate legal or policy uncertainty appropriately - Ability to identify patterns in case or detection data, recommend practical mitigations, and communicate progress and findings to cross-functional partners - Comfort using investigative tools and data; SQL, statistics, or technical collaboration experience is a plus, while engineering is not required.
