This post is for a full-time position in the Architect’s Department, which is responsible for ensuring provision of a high level of Architectural Services consisting of architectural design, conservation, urban design and building procurement and quantity surveying services to all departments of Fingal County Council. The Department has a varied pattern of work with a renewed emphasis on the provision of new social and affordable housing in line with government policy. In addition, it has a primary role in devising and implementing programmes to best use Fingal County Councils existing housing stock. The department also works on public and community buildings. The Architects Department functions as an integrated service to all departments in the Council and the person appointed will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
