## What you'll do act as a senior SME, engaging with engineers, management, and customer stakeholders to define solution approaches, agree maintenance objectives, introduce new capabilities, and drive issue resolution. The Firewall Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and ongoing support of enterprise firewall and application security platforms, with a strong focus on F5 (LTM/SSL) and Check Point technologies. The role supports business-critical services, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational excellence ## Expectations From The Role: Key Responsibilities: · Firewall & Security Operations. Configure, manage, and support Check Point firewalls, including policy management, rule optimisation, NAT, VPNs, and security updates · Perform firewall audits, rule reviews, and optimization · Operate and maintain ### F5 Ltm and SSLi environments · SSL certificate lifecycle management · OS patching, upgrades, backups, and health checks · Support incident response, troubleshooting and RCA across security infrastructure. · Perform planned changes, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of network and security platforms. · Manage infrastructure reliability, ensuring availability, performance, resilience, and compliance with agreed SLAs. · Contribute to and validate high‑level and low‑level designs, ensuring secure, scalable, and supportable solutions. · Prepare and deliver customer-facing security reports, technical briefings covering firewall operations, threat activity, policy compliance, risk exposure, and remediation recommendations. …
