Diversity - Innovation - Global Collaboration - Winning Spirit - High Performance At Boston Scientific, we’ll give you the opportunity to harness all that’s within you by working in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health… ## What you'll do Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to support safe and reliable production operations - Independently diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system faults. - Complete maintenance activities and documentation in accordance with site procedures, GMP ## What you'll bring , and engineering standards. - Accurately maintain maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS to support regulatory and audit requirements. - Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of equipment failures. - Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives. - Follow all safety procedures, identify hazards, and actively contribute to a strong safety culture. - Collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Facilities, and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and support business objectives. - Share technical knowledge, assist with onboarding and training activities, and support team capability development. Education & Experience: - NFQ level 6 STEM higher certificate/Trade Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. - 2 to 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. - SMT experience is a requirement - Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment. - Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems. - Understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements. - Experience within either Medical Device, trade related fields, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, or other regulated manufacturing industries is preferred but not essential. - Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. - Understanding of equipment reliability and preventive maintenance principles. - Technical troubleshooting and maintenance expertise. - Structured problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong compliance and documentation discipline. - Safety awareness and risk management. - Effective communication and teamwork. - Accountability and ownership of assigned work. - Continuous improvement mindset.
