Senior Payroll Specialist LATAM

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert on our Global Payroll team, with ownership of payroll operations across LATAM (Brazil and Mexico). Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, this role partners closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Cork for our hybrid working model. ## What you'll do - Prepare and review advance, monthly and supplemental payrolls for our LATAM operations including salary, equity, ## What you'll bring ; assist the Payroll Tax Team with any audits and year-end compliance reporting - Train junior payroll staff; document and continuously improve payroll SOPs - Automate processes to enhance scalability and efficiency of payroll operations - Ensure SOX compliance with all payroll operation processes - All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned Skills and Qualifications: - Fluent in Portuguese (a must) and Spanish (a plus) - Experience with Brazil and Mexico end to end payroll  - Experience with Brazil payroll statutory obligations is required, i.e. hands-on experience with eSocial, FGTS Digital, INSS, IRRF and related filings - Advance proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Google Applications - Experience with ADP Celergo and SuccessFactors is a plus - Minimum 6+years of LATAM payroll experience - Subject matter expert in Brazil compliance and regulation including but not limited to vacation, collective bargaining agreements, 13th month salary calculations etc - Ability to partner and collaborate with various stakeholders to fulfill common goals - Strong verbal and written communication skills required to clearly communicate complex payroll matters to both employees and stakeholders - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high volume environment About MongoDB MongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
